Sean Carter is the main protagonist of Hellraiser: Judgment.

Biography

He was a troubled police detective, living a secret life as a serial killer.

Carter was twice spared, once by the Stygian Inquisition and again by Pinhead, both times by the order of the angel Jophiel. As Carter was deemed to be serving a purpose, to God, in the short term.

After being let go by Pinhead, Carter was immediately caught off-guard and shot dead by fellow detective Christine Egerton. Pinhead was aware that this would happen, essentially disobeying his orders. This rebellion in Pinhead culminated with him killing Jophiel (or at least destroying her bodily form) and Pinhead being expelled from the Order of the Gash.
